I've always been fascinated by the art of marrying a sound to a visual, but my interest was only truly piqued when I was about 15, watching the film 'Drive', directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. The film remained so simple and yet so mesmerizing, with moments of quiet introspection between sparse bits of dialogue, which contrasted heavily with the more action-oriented moments in the film.

When it comes to my SFX and foley work, I always try to capture that mesmerizing atmosphere and try to truly captivate the audience with the sound of the scene.
